Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service (QCF)Description
This qualification is suitable for learners wishing to improve their knowledge of the importance of customer service including how to satisfy customers' expectations. It is designed for learners who deal with customers on a daily basis as part of their job role and is applicable to a variety of work environments.

The minimum contact hours for this course is 115, ideally delivered over 14 days. This can be consecutive or one day per week for 14 weeks.

Learners will complete two units:

  • Delivery of Effective Customer Service
  • Supporting the customer service environment

Throughout these units, learners will cover the principles of customer services, understanding customer needs and expectations, responding to problems and complaints, interpersonal and teamworking skills, legislation, practical skills, communication, improvement and development of service.

Learners will be assessed by the tutor throughout the course, and will build a portfolio of evidence to submit to the awarding body.
