Conflict Management and Physical InterventionAny member of staff who interacts with others is at risk of facing conflict. Effective conflict management techniques ensure that the staff member is equipped with the skills to keep themselves safe, diffuse the conflict and come to a resolution suitable for both parties, thus ensuring good relations both with customers and within the staff teams.

Physical Intervention skills are ideal for workers who may be at risk of assault, or simply for individuals to gain more confidence when dealing with others who are aggressive. Focussing first on keeping the individual safe, these skills are soft, pain-free and use technique rather than strength. There are no fitness requirements – this course is suitable for anybody of any age and size.
